NCAA Basketball: Missouri at Mississippi Petre Thomas-USA TODAY Sports

Well... This podcast was supposed to be a recap of the SEC Tournament and a look ahead at the NCAA tournament, BUT that didn’t happen, right? So, it is off-season mode. Sam and Matt open up with some of their thoughts on how we had to say goodbye to sports for a bit, in particular March Madness.

After, they talk needs for Mizzou Basketball as it relates to what the roster will look like and how they get better, A wing is a HUGE need for Mizzou and how are they going to get that? Where? Let’s dive in.

Episode Breakdown:

:55 - 15:38: The first Coronavirus edition of Dive Cuts. What a sports-less week it has been. Let’s recap a little bit and what all has happened. Not having March Madness is sad... but it’s okay! Right?!

15:39 - 32:20: If you hadn’t heard, the SEC Tournament was cancelled. This sucks for Reed Nikko, but Mizzou is only losing one guy. How can Mizzou be better next year? What do they need and where does it come from?

32:21 - 50:00:We are dealing with something that you have no playbook on how to handle. What is the potential impact on the Mizzou Basketball program? What will next year look like and can we expect to see a big leap next year?

50:01 - END: Final thoughts and a scheduling update! You can expect a podcast every week, one week football, the other basketball. How about that?
