Mizzou Football head coach Eli Drinkwitz has prioritized the state of Missouri since getting the job in December, and it’s paying off so far.
Earlier today, Taj Butts, a running back from DeSmet in St. Louis, committed to Coach Drink and the Tigers. The momentum carried forward into the evening when Washington tight end Ryan Hoerstkamp pledged to Mizzou, giving Coach Drink his second in-state commitment of the day.

Hoerstkamp picked Mizzou over Arkansas after naming his final two a few weeks ago.

But for real: Hoerstkamp looks like a shifty, surprising athlete for his size. He’s got good ball skills, and seems to anticipate the throw out of his QB’s hand. I’d like to see him add some size to his frame, but he could potentially be a scary threat matching up against linebackers in coverage.
