Oh boy... it looks like it’s going to be a longggg season.

Lets start by looking at the schedule in its entirety

  • Sept. 26 ALABAMA
  • Oct. 3 at Tennessee
  • Oct. 10 at LSU
  • Oct. 17 VANDERBILT
  • Oct. 24 at Florida
  • Oct. 31 KENTUCKY
  • Nov. 7 Open
  • Nov. 14 GEORGIA
  • Nov. 21 at South Carolina
  • Nov. 28 ARKANSAS
  • Dec. 5 at Mississippi State

This morning Coach Eli Drinkwitz said regardless of what the schedule reveals he will be ready to “rock and roll.” Well he better be. Bama and LSU in your first three weeks as a power 5 head coach is nothing short of a baptism of fire, and you can’t slight a trip to Knoxville either. The rest of the schedule shapes up like a typical in conference slate, but wow, it’s going to be tough.

I think this tweet sums up all of our reactions. Even Roman Harper on the SEC Schedule was lost for words when trying to find a silver when he said, “Alabama and LSU in 3 weeks, poor guys.”

On the brightside, at least we don’t have Arkansas’ schedule.
