In the midst of a global pandemic, it’s been a bit silent on the Mizzou Basketball front, BUT Sam Snelling and Matt Harris are back with a new episode of Dive Cuts, complete with recruiting nuggets! The crew gets into the uncertainty of a season and where we would normally be in the beginning of predicting wins and losses, but with have no idea if there will be a non-conference, it’s hard to determine.
Let’s dive in!
Episode Breakdown:
:15 - 12:03: Welcome back to another episode of Dive Cuts! Let’s jump right into recruiting talk and it starts with Kaleb Brown. Is he a take for Missouri, or has the lack of buzz surrounding him been something of a concern? The hosts also get into some general recruiting talk as well.
12:04 - 25:01: There has been a whole lot of talk around the idea of positionless basketball... Let’s dive into that a bit, shall we? This weaves back into the recruiting part, which is perfect podcasting in the eyes of this producer.
25:02 - 40:00: As everyone is aware, this is a different season, a different recruiting period, a different everything. Sam and Matt dive into what that means for looking at this season and on-campus visits and the things of that nature. (Hint: it might be time to say RIP to the Non-Con...)
40:01 - END: FINAL THOUGHTS! After some careful basketball analysis and recruiting chatter, it’s time for cocktail thoughts. Matt shares that he enjoys running and Sam shouts out some quality work done by the Rock M staff lately. We will be back in two weeks, so until then, thanks for tuning in.
