Alabama releases Week 1 depth chart
Getting back into the swing of game week is like putting on a pair of old, battered, yet comfortable shoes. Every day is a step on a familiar path, from the injury report to the predictions. And in between is that bastion of light for all football nerds everywhere... the depth chart.
Unfortunately we haven’t received Missouri’s version of a depth chart for week one. But if you need a fix, take a gander at all the future NFL talent on Alabama’s!

Saturday should be fun!
Roll Bama Roll put out its own depth chart explainer, with thoughts on many individual positions.
As expected, Mac Jones is the starting QB. No “or” designation.
John Metchie III is the third starting WR alongside DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle.
Emil Ekiyor Jr. nailed down the OL opening vacated by Jedrick Wills Jr. He is slotted at RG, moving Evan Neal outside to RT.
That’s just a taste. Click the above link to get a full breakdown from our friends at RBR.
Meanwhile, we’ll wait to get our own version of a depth chart, which will look sort of piecemeal with all the players in COVID-19 protocol.
