Mark those calendars!

This year’s Rally For Rhyan date has been officially set, and it will be held on February 13th against Arkansas — a Saturday afternoon tip-off at Mizzou Arena.

This will be the sixth annual Rally For Rhyan game, and Mizzou basketball is 5-0 in these previous games. Remember, Missouri already has a road win over Arkansas this season? Yeah, I like the Tigers’ chances in this one.

And in college baseball, the season is just around the corner — believe it or not. And D1Baseball’s site had a complete preview of the SEC season on Wednesday ($$). Despite finishing the 2020 COVID-shortened season with an 11-5 record and a seven-game winning streak, D1 Baseball has Mizzou finishing...last in the SEC East in their projected standings. They have ELEVEN projected regional teams.

However, Steve Bieser’s squad still has some talent. RHP Spencer Miles (31st), RHP Seth Halvorsen (33rd), 3B Luke Mann (40th), and LHP Andrew Bail (43rd) make the SEC’s top 50 list for the top 2021 draft prospects. RHP Ben Pederson (44th) is on the 2022 draft prospect list.

Keep an eye out on OF CJ Cepciky (30th) and RHP Parker Wright (44th) who make the top 50 SEC’s impact freshman list.
