The Missouri Basketball team is searching for a win tomorrow night in Athens, Georgia against the 12-8 Georgia Bulldogs. Their path to a win took another challenging turn as the school announced Senior post Jeremiah Tilmon will not travel with the team, and will miss his second game following the death of a family member.
Per the release:
Mizzou senior forward Jeremiah Tilmon, Jr., will not travel with the team to Athens and will not play Tuesday, Feb. 16, against Georgia.
Tilmon, Jr., is taking a leave of absence following a death in his family.
The Tigers are still ranked in the top 25 after the two losses this past week. They came in the AP Poll at 20 following their Overtime loss to rival Arkansas.
Against Arkansas Tilmon’s starting spot went to Mitchell Smith, who fouled out in 26 minutes. The Tigers were a much more perimeter focused team and attempted a season high 32 3-pointers.
