Welcome back to the newest episode of Dive Cuts with Sam Snelling and Matthew Harris! Alright, Mizzou is in the Top 10 and that is some welcome news! The Tigers had a pretty good week even though they decided to make it pretty interesting against Alabama down the stretch. Sam and Matt offer their takeaways from Mizzou’s 2-0 week.
To cap it all off, Sam and Matt take a look at Ole Miss and Arkansas this week, and ideally Mizzou ends this week at 2-0 once again. You never know with these Tigers! We shall see. Let’s dive in.
:15 - 38:10: Mizzou is in the Top 10 and even Jesse Newell could not even leave Mizzou out of the Top 25 this time around! All jokes aside, let’s talk about Mizzou’s ranking and the last week for Cuonzo Martin and Company. Basically, if the season were to end right now, Mizzou would have a pretty good number next to them in the NCAA Tournament. Where will Mizzou fall when all is said and done?
38:11 - 48:20: Mizzou travels to Ole Miss on Wednesday and this could be a trap game. What’s in store for the Tigers Wednesday night and how can they make sure they leave there with a win and not a setback loss?
48:21 - 59:13: On Saturday, which is the Rally for Rhyan game, Mizzou faces Arkansas and that is another test for the Tigers. They need to avoid a home letdown. How can they do that? Justin Smith changes the game for Arkansas and Mizzou fans should take note of that.
59:14 - END: As stated and linked above, Rock M is doing another fundraiser for Rally for Rhyan. Please support this amazing cause Mizzou Basketball and Mizzou Athletics have gotten behind. Whether it be through the Rock M fundraiser, or in a different way, we encourage everyone to help however they can.
