Welcome back to another episode of Dive Cuts with Sam Snelling and Matthew Harris. Mizzou Basketball rarely gives fans time to decompress and let the season sink in and it’s no different this year. There will be a nearly brand new roster next season, which opens up the possibility of all kinds of outcomes! With transfers and recruiting still happening, we don’t know what we don’t know, but Sam and Matt do their best to read the tea leaves.

Who else is out there to fill the final two spots on Mizzou’s roster or do they? That and other Mizzou/College Basketball Happenings. Let’s dive in.

:15 - 4:50: The transfer portal is pure chaos and staying on top of it can be a CHORE. Sam has a way to save the day, but let’s talk about it.

4:51 -19:32: One thing this crew was preaching a bit when it came to this off-season was the fact that turnover might not be the end of the world for Missouri. A wild transfer portal has impacted just about everyone in the SEC, Mizzou included. Since we follow Mizzou closer than everyone else it’s easy to get wrapped up in what is going on with their roster instead of taking it in context with the rest of the league. So be patient until everyone is done.

19:33 – 43:40: The dust is settling a bit right now and some clues out there in the Twitter-verse are kind of drying up. Are there still some pieces out there for Mizzou to finish out this roster? Something to remember is that you can fill these spots in, but you also want to maintain flexibility for the next year. What a fun game to play.

43:41 – 57:19: There are other college basketball happenings that are noteworthy regarding SEC Schools and others. Let’s take you through some of those before we send you off into the rest of the week.
