Forecasting the future....
The top Mizzou basketball target in the 2022 class is announcing his decision.....tomorrow. The top Mizzou football target in the 2022 class is announcing his decision on October 20th.
That’s fun, right?
When it comes to recruiting, the popular thing to follow when a commit nears a decision is the 247Sports’ Crystal Ball and the Rivals’ FutureCast.
As far as predictions go, things are picking up for the four-star small forward Aidan Shaw, and of course...five-star wide receiver Luther Burden. And both are looking positive for Mizzou.

On Rivals’ FutureCast, two predictions are in for Shaw, as Rob Cassidy and Gabe DeArmond have predicted Mizzou to land him.
Stay tuned for Shaw’s commitment coming up at 10:30 a.m. CT on Friday. And you can watch it on CBS Sports HQ.
Blue Vally's basketball team shared this earlier in the day on a private feed, but now it's public.#Mizzou target Aidan Shaw's announcing his decision at 11:30 a.m. ET/10:30 a.m. CT Friday on CBS Sports HQ. pic.twitter.com/1F2JHh7g5T

For Luther Burden, there’s three of the latest predictions in on Rivals’ FutureCast. Woody Wommack and Sam Spieglelman have predicted Mizzou, while Ben Bachmann has selected Georgia.
And Mizzou Baseball has announced their 2022 SEC schedule:

The Tigers’ first two conference series are against the National Champion runners up (at Vanderbilt) March 18-20 and the No. 1 overall seed in last year’s NCAA Tournament (vs Arkansas) March 25-27. Mississippi State, the defending National Champions come to Columbia April 29-May 1.
As MUTigers.com points out, Mizzou will play six series against teams that were ranked in the final D1Baseball Top 25 poll last year. Only two teams on the Tigers’ schedule (Kentucky and Georgia) missed the NCAA Tournament last year.
Per usual, it’s just another brutal schedule in a loaded SEC Baseball conference.
