Boston College fans rushed the field after an overtime win over the Missouri Tigers, so that means Mizzou is ranked, right? Well....not quite.
Despite another tough loss from the Tigers, it was yet another fun Saturday of College Football to watch as four teams (Clemson, Iowa State, North Carolina, and Kansas State) lost to unranked teams.
In the SEC, Arkansas made a statement with a 20-10 victory over Texas A&M — and now the Razorbacks look like a legitimate Top 10 team, coming in at No. 8 in this week’s AP Top 25 poll. The conference still leads the way with seven teams ranked.
Here is this week’s AP Top 25 poll:

Bowl Projections for Mizzou:
Starting the season off 2-2 and losing both swing games to Kentucky and Boston College isn’t exactly ideal.
However, here’s some perspective: Mizzou’s two losses have come on the road against teams that are a combined 8-0 (and on the verge of the Top 25), and both games have been decided by one possession with a chance to win on the final drive.
Having said that, there’s very little room for error now — and the goal the rest of the way should be to at the very least make a bowl game. There’s still a clear path to that, but the Tennessee, North Texas, Vanderbilt, and South Carolina games are all must wins by now.
As of right now, some of the national media still likes the Tigers’ chances of making it to the postseason:
- CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm has Missouri in the Liberty Bowl against Kansas State
- ($$) On ESPN, Mark Schlabach has Missouri in the Liberty Bowl against Iowa State
- The Action Network’s Brett McMurphy has Missouri vs Michigan State in the Music City Bowl
- College Football News has Missouri in the Gator Bowl against Wake Forest
