After a season that’s gone far worse than most imagined, and even despite a super big buyout, the question still needs to be asked.

At the end of a tumultuous season which has fallen well short of even the most meager of expectations, there’s a real question as to whether or not Cuonzo Martin will be back next year. That question was something that seemed incredibly unlikely as he had taken Missouri to two NCAA tournaments in the last four years. But a 4-12 record in conference play coupled with a sinking KenPom rating have put the question out front and center.
