Winning transfer recruiting battles is fun. Taking transfers from rivals is even better. Taking transfers from rivals repeatedly is best.

In the third instance of Mizzou stealing an impact player from an in-conference opponent, Florida transfer Chris McClellan announced today that he’ll commit to Mizzou for the remainder of his college career.

McClellan was a sophomore under Billy Napier and Austin Armstrong’s defense last season and proved to be a regular contributor, appearing in all 12 games and amassing 23 total tackles. With some turnover happening on the interior of the defensive line, McClellan provides Blake Baker with an SEC-ready impact player who will provide meaningful production for a defense looking to stay near the top of the national rankings.

Welcome, Mr. McClellan! M-I-Z!
