Honors and Awards Continue for Mizzou Football:

After being named AP SEC Coach of the Year on Monday, Mizzou Head Coach Eli Drinkwitz is in the running for a national coach of the year award.

Drinkwitz was named a finalist for the Eddie Robinson Award — one of 12 head coaches up for the FBS National Coach of the Year. Also, congrats to former Mizzou coach Barry Odom who was named a finalist.

Meanwhile, the coaches’ All-SEC teams were announced by the league on Tuesday — and Mizzou placed seven players on the first and second teams.

RB Cody Schrader, WR Luther Burden, OL Javon Foster, Darius Robinson, and DB Kris Abrams-Draine landed on the first team while LB Ty’Ron Hopper and K Harrison Mevis appeared on the second team.

With five players named to the first team, Missouri ranked second in the SEC only behind Alabama (8).

Though, the Eddie Robinson and All-SEC teams weren’t the only national recognition for the Mizzou Football program on Tuesday. Former Missouri Tiger great Jeremy Maclin was officially inducted into the National Football Foundation’s College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2023:

Also, in St. Louis from the Missouri Athletic Club: Cody Schrader was presented the Carl O. Bauer Award at the 54th Jack Buck Sports Awards:
