Mizzou is in the middle of a national search for its next defensive coordinator, but that won’t stop Eli Drinkwitz and his team from adding defensive pieces.

Following an official visit over the weekend, New Mexico State transfer defensive tackle Sterling Webb announced his commitment to Mizzou on Sunday.

Webb, a St. Louis native, is an experienced tackle who will help the Tigers replace a lot of the outgoing depth on the interior of the defensive line. Over the course of two seasons for the Aggies, Webb appeared in 25 games and racked up 47 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, six sacks and two forced fumbles.
