Alabama transfer DL Isaiah Hastings commits to Mizzou

The former four-star recruit will have three years of eligibility remaining.

No defensive coordinator? No problem! Wait, did I already say that in one of these posts...

Whatever the case, Eli Drinkwitz and his staff continue to hit the transfer portal hard to rebuild the defense for whoever will take over the unit in 2024. On Tuesday, Mizzou added yet another high-upside player, picking Alabama transfer Isaiah Hastings out of the portal.

Hastings didn’t see any action in the 2023 season and saw few enough games in 2022 to maintain his redshirt. He was a consensus 4-star recruit coming out of high school, ranking in the Top 150-250 range by all the major recruiting services. With plenty of rotation spots open, Hastings will have an immediate opportunity to impress in Columbia.
