Micah Wilson had just decommitted from Boise State after being committed since April. The son of a Curtis Wilson, who lettered at center for the Tigers from 1987-88 and was drafted by the Patriots, and played alongside Andy Lock, the father of current Mizzou quarterback Drew Lock.
Apparently, he grew up idolizing Chase Daniel
A 3* recruit according to Rivals, the 6'3" 205 lb Wilson looks like a pro-style quarterback with enough mobility to fit well into Josh Heupel's plans for the offense.
According to MaxPreps, Wilson is a helluva QB
Interestingly, there's speculation that Wilson's decommitment could also open the door for the Tigers to get in on Damarea Crockett, a 4* running back from Little Rock, Arkansas, who's also committed to Boise State. We've added him to our Recruiting Big Board.
And, with Kentrell Brothers heading out, Wilson would make sure that MU doesn't go without an Oklahoman on next year's roster.
