The Tigers reached into B1G territory and landed mammoth 3-star offensive lineman Yasir Durant of Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Durant is the fifth OL recruit in the 2016 class. He was recruited by Rutgers and North Carolina, and up until this weekend was committed to the San Diego State Aztecs. Due to being a late-qualifier, he was a JUCO coming from Arizona Western Community College.

It is hard not to marvel at how big Yasir Durant is, 6’7, 345 pounds and it looks like Missouri may have found their replacement for Josh Augusta in the “Bone” package.
Durant is rated a 3* by every service except Rivals (although I’m sure that will magically change soon).
Durant’s film is basically him steam-rolling small children on the football field
As the ever observant Dave Matter points out, this continues the trade Missouri made with San Diego State for Teki Gill-Caeser.
The trade continues. San Diego St sent Missouri AD Jim Sterk, OL Yasir Durant & volleyball setter Courtney Eckenrode for Teki Gill-Caesar

Welcome to the Zou, Yasir!
