Missouri had some needs to fill up front on defense, and this weekend has been about doing just that. On Saturday, big JUCO tackle Rashard Brandon committed. On Sunday, defensive end Nate Anderson of New Mexico Military Institute joined him on the commit list.

Anderson hails from Prattville, Ala., and was originally an inside linebacker prospect in high school. He does not yet have a recruiting ranking.
In 2016, he played defensive end for NMMI and, as you can see from the highlights above, showed serious speed rush potential. He recorded 13.5 tackles for loss and five sacks for the Broncos.
One assumes his potential versatility was a draw for Barry Odom and staff as well. From his height, weight, position history, and everything else, it appears he could be a player who could play either stand-up defensive end or more of an end/OLB hybrid position. Regardless, it appears he’ll be a Tiger. WELCOME, NATE.
