Catching you up on Mizzou recruiting news from April 8 to April 24.

Black and Gold Spring Game and Football Camps

Mizzou held its annual Black and Gold Spring Game on April 16 and many recruits came by to check out the action. You can find our full breakdown of recruits in attendance here.

2016 running back signee Damarea Crockett seemed pretty confident about what his team has to offer.

Meanwhile, Missouri has released their football camp schedules for this summer.

Future Tigers

Pompey Coleman (6"5", 265), a three-star offensive tackle from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, committed to Missouri on April 9. Coleman chose Missouri over Louisville, Purdue, Syracuse, Virginia, and Iowa State among others. You can find our full breakdown of Coleman's commitment here. Welcome, Pompey!

Missouri is looking far and wide for players to replenish the offensive line and Coleman is definitely a step in the right direction. Offensive line coach Glen Elarbee is confident that Coleman will boost the current status of the line.

According to his Twitter page, 2016 quarterback Evan Johnson (6'2", 180) from Westminster Christian High School in St. Louis, MO will be joining the Tigers next year. Johnson threw for 2837 passing yards, averaged 149.3 passing yards per game, maintained a 66.94% completion rate, and had a 34-5 touchdown to interception ratio over two years at Westminster according to MaxPreps. You can find our full breakdown of Johnson's addition here. Welcome, Evan!

Mizzou on the radar

2016 Mizzou commit Harry Ballard tweeted about his workout with 2018 Maryland Heights, MO quarterback Kaleb Eleby including "he will most definitely be #MizzouMade." in his tweet. Eleby (6'1", 195) currently holds an offer from Iowa State and indicates his interest in the Tigers with this tweet:

Maryland Heights is also the HS where 3 star offensive lineman Marquis Hayes, who visited Mizzou for the Spring Game, goes to school. Hayes is a top interior line target for the 2017 class.

Speaking of Harry Ballard III, teammate at McCluer North High School with Ballard, Dennis Barber (6'8", 305) is a class of 2016 offensive tackle. Glen Elarbee and Barry Odom are looking for immediate help for the offensive line and Barber might be a potential fit. It doesn't look like Barber currently holds an offer, but it appears that Cornell Ford could potentially be recruiting Barber. Check out Barber's highlights on Hudl.

Caleb Chandler (6'5", 285) is a four-star offensive tackle from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, GA. Chandler recently released his top ten schools which included Mizzou. Check out Chandler's highlights on Hudl. Chandler says he will not commit until after his football season is complete, so Glen Elarbee and Barry Odom have a while to recruit Chandler.

Michael Young (5'11", 175) is a three-star wide receiver from Destrehan High School in Destrehan, Louisiana. Young picked up an offer from Mizzou on April 7 and recently let Twitter know of his interest in the Tigers.
