Larry Boyd
Saturday at Mizzou go be lit
— Big Larry (@LBJ__76) July 20, 2016
Larry Boyd confirmed to me that he would be attending Missouri's "Night at the Zou" recruiting event this Saturday. The 6'5, 310-pound 2017 offensive lineman from Trinity Catholic in St. Louis has long been on the Tigers' radar, and many consider him to be a heavy lean toward Mizzou.
In addition to Mizzou; Arkansas, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin have offered. The sticking point has reportedly been getting his mother to visit along with him and sign off on his decision but we're going to put him on commitment watch for this weekend.
Larry Borom
Mizzou camp this weekend
— Larry (@lborom_) July 20, 2016
Larry Borom is a 6'5, 338-pound 2017 offensive lineman who attends Brother Rice high school in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. After Eastern Kentucky, Missouri appears to be his only other reported offer. The fact he's willing to make the long trip down to Columbia is probably a solid sign of where Mizzou stands with him, so we could be on commitment watch for another lineman named Larry.
Alec Long
Alec Long is 5'11, 203-pound safety from Liberty Tech Magnet in Jackson, Tennessee. Missouri currently has five athletes from the state of Tennessee, but none of their hometowns appear closer than an hour and a half from Jackson, so I'm not sure how familiar Long might be with any of them. Long has offers from Kentucky, Arkansas State, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Missouri.
Long recently released his top five schools, and Missouri was on the list along with Memphis, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Kentucky. Look for safeties coach Ryan Walters to try to live up to his reputation with a commitment this weekend.
Tony Adams
Tony Adams is a 6'0, 185-pound cornerback/receiver athlete from St. Louis University High, where current Mizzou receiver Ray Wingo went to school. Adams has offers from Illinois, Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan along with Mizzou and is being recruited by Cornell Ford.
Trevor Trout
Trevor Trout confirmed to me that he'd be in Columbia. Mizzou fans are probably already very familiar with the massive 2018 defensive tackle prospect out of St. Louis Chaminade, where former reserve linebacker Denzel Martin went to high school.
Trout has offers from Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas A&M and UCLA along with Missouri and just visited Ohio State in June for a camp. He is quickly becoming a national recruit, which means Cornell Ford will have his work cut out for him. Trout has repeatedly stated he won't be commitment until his senior year.
Ronnie Perkins
Headed to the Zou this weekend
— Ronnie Perkins (@Legendary11_) July 20, 2016
Ronnie Perkins is a 6'4, 245-pound 2018 defensive end hailing from Lutheran North in St. Louis. He is the younger brother of current Mizzou safety Ronnell Perkins.
Perkins already has offers from Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Memphis and Missouri and is being recruited by Cornell Ford. An early commitment here would really be ideal.
Tyler Foote
Mizzou on Saturday. Gotta show em whatsup. #AerialAssault #MIZ
— tfoote (@tfoote5) July 20, 2016
Tyler Foote is 6'1, 208-pound, 2018 quarterback from John Burroughs School in St. Louis, where Jon Hamm matriculated (and also Ezekiel Elliiot). Foote attended a Kentucky camp in early June. His only offers to date appear to be Yale and SEMO, but he is being recruited by Cornell Ford and could see an offer after this weekend.
Verdis Brown
@ajaylewis I'll be at mizzou on the 23rd
— Verdisbrown77 (@verdisbrown) July 16, 2016
Verdis Brown is a 6'4, 290-pound 2018 lineman from Chicago's Mount Carmel with offers from Illinois, Florida State, Ohio State, Purdue and Missouri. He's already rated a four-star recruit by both Rivals and 247sports; eventually landing this national recruit would be a big coup for Barry Odom and would mean the Tigers are making in-roads in the rich Chicago-land recruiting grounds.
TJ Kennedy
2018 Lee's Summit offensive lineman TJ Kennedy confirmed he'd be in attendance. The 6'4, 330-pound prospect has unofficially visited Mizzou a couple times already this year but is still looking for his first offer. Perhaps Andy Hill gets in the door first after this weekend.

That's all the recruits I've personally been able to confirm but we know there are more and hope to keep you updated throughout this weekend. A few Rock M writers will be in attendance for the event, so look for updates this weekend.
If you're looking for a more exhaustive list for this weekend and have the subscription, PowerMizzou is probably the place to check out.
Commitment Watch:
I'll be committing on Sunday @8:00❕❕#WPS #Gopokes #Missouri
— Chase Hayden (@Chase_Hayden2) July 22, 2016
Chase Hayden, a 2017 running back from St. George's HS in Collierville, Tenn., announced he would be making his commitment on Sunday at 8pm. Missouri is one of three in the running. Hayden's father played with current defensive line coach Jackie Shipp and according to 247sports, is visiting Columbia today.
