Walter Palmore is a 6’4, 300 pound defensive tackle defensive tackle who had offers from Georgia, Kansas State, and West Virginia. He hails from Columbus (Ga.) but currently attends Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher (Az.). He spent the 2014 season at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas, as well, and he will spend 2017 in Columbia.

Palmore is a mid-three-star recruit per both the 247Sports Composite and Rivals, and in two years at EAC, he recorded 57.5 tackles and 9.5 tackles for loss. He and his teammate, JUCO All-American Malik Young (also a defensive tackle), visited Columbia this past weekend. Young’s signing decision is expected on Wednesday.
Missouri’s No. 1 priority with its 2017 class was bolstering defensive line depth. The Tigers have now done that, securing five defensive line commits thus far, with potentially a couple more still to go. Palmore will have the opportunity to contribute quickly.
WELCOME, WALTER.
