Montgomery, Alabama three-star quarterback James Foster announced on twitter he will take an official visit to Mizzou — as well as LSU, Florida State, Arizona and Kentucky.

Earlier this year Foster was pledged to the Missouri Tigers but then de-committed on Oct. 26 after receiving an offer from LSU — the current favorite according to 247sports.com

The 6’3, 210 pound dual-threat QB has received offers from Florida State, Kentucky and according to SEC Country hopes for an offer from Auburn,

“I’m probably the next guy up if they’re going to take two quarterbacks, so we’ll see.”

Back in February, Foster told Dawgnation.com,

“I know a lot of kids in this state dream about offers from Auburn or Alabama, but I’m not huge on that.”

Missouri offered Foster when he was a sophomore and flipped him from his first commitment to North Carolina. The Tigers have three quarterbacks behind Drew Lock but no other quarterbacks in the 2018 class.

We’ve previously highlighted how important Foster was to Missouri’s recruiting efforts in Alabama, Foster’s close relationship with offensive coordinator Josh Heupel and the importance of signing a QB in every recruiting class.

One of the people trying to convince Foster is defensive tackle Antar Thompson — a man already familiar with the ins-and-outs of football recruiting who just re-committed to Mizzou.

With the Missouri Tigers now bowling and speculation around Drew Lock’s potential NFL departure, this could be a saga that extends beyond the December 20th-22nd ‘early’ signing window new to college football this year — meaning we could be waiting until National Signing Day in February of 2018 to learn Foster’s final decision.
