You can see Ulmer’s highlight film above. It’s hard to get a great read for his athleticism without knowing more about the level of competition he’s facing, but he seems to have excellent instincts and reads plays very quickly.
Ulmer is a low- to mid-three-star prospect per the 247Sports Composite (his grade: 0.8225), but Mizzou has had its eye on him for quite a while.
Ulmer joins an interesting safety unit for Mizzou in 2017, one that features lots of experienced candidates and no sure things. He will head into fall camp thinking there is playing time to be earned.
