Previous Posts | 2017 Alabama linebacker Jamal Brooks commits to Missouri Tigers |
From the original commitment article:
A brief review of his film paints Brooks as a classic strongside linebacker in high school. Strong pursuit instincts, willing hitter but perhaps limited playing sideline-to-sideline or turning and running in coverage. He fits the mold of a Barry Odom linebacker who likes to attack the ball-carrier. He's the type of player I could see starting on special teams as a freshman much like Terez Hall.
Brooks has become more or less the unofficial spokesman of Mizzou’s recruiting class; if that translates to leadership on the field, the Tigers might have an anchor at linebacker in the years to come.
WELCOME, JAMAL.
