Sampson checks the boxes. He has the requisite size you look for, and his highlight film shows that he has good strength and closes in on the ball carrier well. And his quickness is such that it appears he lined up at defensive end a good amount.
Mizzou has been on the trail of the former Tulane commit for a while and now gets a nice lump of clay to mold. The Tigers desperately needed defensive tackles, and they really wanted this one.
