Niko Hea, an un-rated TE from C.B.C. in St. Louis, MO, has been considered a bit of a sleeper for this class as the Tigers looked to add to a deep group of Tight Ends. Niko is his first name, not to be confused with Mizzou Basketballer Reed Nikko (with TWO k’s), and helped CBC win a state championship this season with a 12-1 record (their only loss coming at the hands of St. Johns from Washington D.C.

It’s clear based upon Hea’s offer list he wasn’t in high demand but the staff believes he is cut out for this level, blessed with a nice set of hands and good feet, and a body to build upon.

All Hea needed was the offer, and it came Monday night.
I’m sure there will be more analysis of Hea and the rest of the class in the coming days, as we inch closer to the early signing period. I’d expect Hea to be apart of the class when signing day arrives here in a few days.
Congrats Niko, and M-I-Z!
