It hasn’t all been good news the last few days following Missouri’s road loss to Wyoming. But what better way to shake off some bad news with some very excellent news, and right out of the Tigers’ backyard.

2020 3-star defensive end Jalen Logan-Redding — long an important local target for this coaching staff — committed to Missouri today over scholarship offers from Texas, Oklahoma State, and Kansas. Logan-Redding is the 13th (still) committed player in the 2020 class and the seventh from the state of Missouri. The Tigers also a defensive line commitment Kevon Billingsley from just across the river in East St. Louis. Interestingly enough, Logan-Redding is high school teammates with Mizzou Linebacker commit Will Norris.
Missouri offered Logan-Redding last summer, and he should be able to help bolster a young, but not particularly deep, defensive end rotation.
