Missouri lands 3-star WR Abrams-Draine

This is Missouri’s 17th commitment of the 2020 class.

football recruiting 2019

Make that back-to-back wide receiver commitments for Missouri football.

Head Coach Eliah Drinkwitz has been shining his version of the Bat-signal (the Drink-signal, I guess?) a lot lately, and Friday’s signal brought along the commitment of 3-star receiver Kris Abrams-Draine out of Spanish Fort, Alabama.

Abrams-Draine was committed to Ole Miss prior to their coaching change. He took a visit to Missouri as well as Nebraska this month. He cancelled a potential visit to Florida State and committed to Missouri.

Looking at his tape you’ll see....well, you’ll see a quarterback wasting fools on zone reads and traps. So it looks like he’s the same type of receiver that Lynn Bowden, Jr. was for Kentucky this past year. KAD is quick and has excellent burst which obviously translates just as well to the receiving position. One should always be weary of the “do-it-all” high school athlete who is just simply better than his competition, but regardless of weariness, this looks like an excellent, athletic pick up for Coach Drinkwitz and his staff. Welcome, Kris!
