While the NFL is getting ready for their biggest day of the year, the Mizzou Football Recruiting cycle never stops, and Coach Eli Drinkwitz ensnared a big target for the 2020 class this morning.
Dylan Spencer, a big Defensive Tackle/Offensive Lineman from Mississippi, had taken recent visits to Mississippi State and Tennessee, but after a weekend visit to Columbia pledged to the Tigers.

Spencer has been lobbied by recent commit Montra Edwards, and is projected by the Missouri staff to play more on the offensive line, so we’ve listed him as an Offensive Tackle. He had an established relationship with new Missouri Offensive Line coach Marcus Johnson during Johnson’s time at Mississippi State. That previous relationship helped Missouri land the commitment despite recent visits to Tennessee and his home state MSU. He’s only the third lineman to commit to Mizzou in the 2020 class. Both Drake Heismeyer and Mitchell Walters signed in the early period.
