It’s game week — and the 2022 recruiting class is officially off and running! Eli Drinkwitz has started this class off with a bang as he continues the in-state momentum. This time, it is from the western side of the state in the Kansas City area – and just so happens to be from the same high school as Drew Lock.

Max Whisner, a three-star tight end from Lee’s Summit has announced his commitment to Missouri via Twitter:

Whisner has gathered a lot of interest from Power Five teams recently and last Monday, he announced his top three schools of Missouri, Arkansas, and, Nebraska.

It’s always good to beat out the Razorbacks and Huskers on the recruiting trail.

According to Rivals, Whisner currently ranks as the 24th best tight end in the country and the 14th best player in the state of Missouri.
