The 2020-21 season ended with a disappointing and quiet exit from the NCAA tournament, as the Missouri Tigers were escorted from Indianapolis by the Oklahoma Sooners. Both teams were once in the top 10 of the country and both had fallen all the way to the 8-9 game of the NCAA tournament. So while the 2020-21 season ended with a little bit of a disappointing finish, there is still a host of reasons to be hopeful for the overall trajectory of the program. There is going to be a lot going on for Mizzou and Cuonzo Martin as they under-go a pretty big overhaul of the roster. With five freshmen signed in the fall, and five players in the transfer portal, Martin has a chance to full remake his roster going into next season.
