That's #Mizzou's most since joining the SEC in 2012

It’s hard to imagine a universe where Drew Lock wouldn’t be an SEC first-teamer after the production he had last season. but it’s nice to see Albert Okwuegbunam get the recognition after his huge breakout season/
Maybe it’s the Mizzou fan in me, but any time you see players you cheer for recognized BEFORE the season, it’s always fun.

DREW LOCK pre-season draft profile is up:

These are not ALL glowing reviews but there’s some good stuff here:
What the 2017 tape says:
Lock is a good-sized athlete with obvious physical gifts. The ball comes off his hand like a rocket, using a smooth, easy load-and-deliver motion. Lock shows light feet in the pocket to evade pressure and find functional throwing platforms.
Dane Brugler basically says there’s a lot of things Lock needs to work on. But there’s a lot to like.
It’ll be interesting to see how Lock and Dooley fit together after the fast-paced high risk-high reward style the Tigers played last season. But enough of my football analysis.
BRETT RAU go and get yours!
Beyond grateful for my playing and working experience with @MizzouHoops, but I’m excited to say my next step I’ll be heading to Dallas to work with the Mavericks next season as a Player Development Intern #LetsGoMavs pic.twitter.com/FHhJlefT7P

If people ever wonder why a player certain to receive a basketball scholarship at a lower level decides to walk-on at a power conference school it’s because of opportunities like this. Rau is going to turn his time at Mizzou and the connections he made there into a great opportunity with an NBA franchise.
Cool news for Brett Rau and for Mizzou Basketball.
