Mizzou Basketball 15-16
MU basketball leaves the country as sanctions hit
As the NCAA levies sanctions on the basketball program, football inches ever closer.
MIZ - USA
Mizzou's sending a whole bushel of athletes to Rio for the 2016 Olympic Games.
Everyone in Columbia is packing their bags
Mizzou basketball is gearing up for an Italian vacation, but they might not be the only ones on campus packing their bags.
What a Time to Be Alive
Kim Anderson is rebuilding and Rhyan Loos has ZERO active cancer cells. All that and more in today's Mizzou Links.
Missouri's timing has been hilariously awful
Missouri's basketball program has been through quite a few ups and downs since the turn of the century, but amid the drama, one thing has been certain: the state of Missouri is going to produce all the blue-chip talent when Mizzou is struggling.
Kim Anderson understands the urgency for Mizzou
At the media day gathering for Missouri basketball coach Kim Anderson on Tuesday, he talked about urgency, graduate transfers, and a never-ending NCAA investigation.
So you weren't invited to the SEC-Big 12 Challenge
What should Mizzou do since they weren't invited to the SEC-Big 12 Challenge.
There's power in identity
Kim Anderson's third Missouri basketball team is going to be undersized but fast. The better his Tigers embrace that identity, punishing opponents for a lack of speed before opponents can punish their lack of size, will determine their success.
Maty Mauk graduates, becomes Colonel
Quarterback Maty Mauk officially graduated from Missouri this past weekend and, per his Twitter profile, appears to be heading to Eastern Kentucky as a graduate transfer. Also: Mizzou Hoops is looking for a new strength coach.
Every year, Mizzou hoops gets less experienced
Missouri's Experience ranking, per Ken Pomeroy, has fallen for four straight years since ranking third in 2011-12. It will almost definitely fall again in 2016-17.
Mizzou will have size and strength at WR
Missouri's receiving corps will once again be a strength from a size perspective. Now we just have to wait and see about quality. Meanwhile, kicker Tucker McCann is adapting to campus life (and booming the hell out of the ball).
Gant to transfer
A source has told ESPN's Jeff Goodman -- and Missouri has confirmed -- that Jakeenan Gant is looking to transfer and has asked for his release.
Mizzou's APR score for 2014-15 rises to 946
#Mizzou's four-year APR score in men's basketball increased to 946, up from last year's 941, after the latest measures from the NCAA.
— Steve Walentik (@Steve_Walentik) April 20, 2016
It stood at 941 after counting the 2013-14 season. The single-season score went from 851 in 2013-14 to 976 in 2014-15. The 851 is a significant anchor for Mizzou's moving averages moving forward -- penalties start with an average of 930 -- but Kim Anderson's work has thus far paid off.
Jordan Geist signs with Mizzou
The combo guard from Indiana via Texas should expect to contend for early minutes.
Mizzou Hoops Lands JUCO Combo Guard
Proud to join the Mizzou Basketball family. Want to thank Coach Anderson and the Missouri Staff for this opportunity #GoTigers
— jordan geist (@jordangeist12) April 15, 2016
Jordan Geist, a 2nd team All-American at Ranger College in Texas pledged a commitment to Mizzou Hoops today. For now it appears that the Tigers are done recruiting at guard, with one scholarship remaining the Tigers are looking for a game changing big, or they'll bank the scholarship for the season. I'll have more coming soon, but for now, Welcome Jordan!

Missouri tried an influx of players from the JUCO level to provide a spark, so how did Woods impact the Tigers last year?

MIZZOU TO THE FINAL FOUR IN 2017
New Missouri guard Jordan Barnett is ready to make a midseason impact in 2016-17, and going by UConn's and Syracuse's examples, apparently a postseason ban is the key to a Final Four run. GOOD NEWS, MISSOURI FANS.
