Mizzou Basketball gets commitment from K-State transfer DaJuan Gordon

The former 3-star prospect from Chicago should help bolster Missouri on the wing.

mizzou basketball recruiting 2021

In keeping with Cuonzo Martin’s tradition of moving very stealthily in his pursuit of players, a very public commitment from target and St. Louis area native, Brandon McKissic, to the Florida Gators was quickly rebutted by the commitment of a player few knew Mizzou was even in contact with: DaJuan Gordon, former Kansas State Wildcat.

In a move that feels strangely like the player to be named later in the Mark Smith trade to K-State, Gordon is a talented wing who hails from Chicago, having played his high school ball at Curie High School.

We’ll take more time to dive into Gordon the player soon, but for now... Welcome DaJuan!

Let’s Meet DaJuan Gordon

  • From: Chicago, IL
  • High School: Curie Metropolitcan
  • Position: Wing
  • Ht/Wt: 6’4 / 190
  • Rivals Ranking: 4-star, 71st ranked nationally
  • 247Composite Ranking: 3-star, 163rd ranked nationally

Here are some Gordon highlights from High School

Gordon is certainly athletic, and Mizzou was in need of increasing their athleticism. He also fortifies the rising sophomore class with the recent commitment of Amari Davis.
