Football Scoop is reporting that Mizzou safeties coach Alex Grinch is leaving Columbia to become Mike Leach's defensive coordinator at Washington State. Grinch had quickly become one of Mizzou's go-to recruiters in the southeast, and he helped to groom Braylon Webb into one of the SEC's best safeties. This would be one HELL of a promotion for him and another opportunity for the Gary Pinkel coaching tree to sprout some impressive roots.
