Your favorite moment from a bad year
Missouri athletics had one of its most frustrating years ever, but there were still some high points. What was your favorite? J'den Cox, Olympian? Gary Pinkel dancing? Mizzou Softball's regional romp?

Mauk and EKU's head coach Mark Elder have a history going back to when Elder was at Cincinnati and recruited him in 2011.

From youngins to draftees
Like any good fanparent, we should send off Missouri's three NFL draftees -- Evan Boehm, Connor McGovern, and Kentrell Brothers -- by looking at (our version of) baby pictures. Also: Mizzou baseball and softball both swept this weekend!
Kenya Dennis signs with Cleveland
Missouri cornerback Kenya Dennis will sign with Cleveland, per his agent
— Dave Matter (@Dave_Matter) April 30, 2016
A JUCO transfer to Missouri, Kenya Dennis looked every bit the part of a corner who could run fast and hit hard. Perhaps in a different system where he's used more like a safety than a corner will benefit him. We wish Kenya good luck for the future.
Russell Hansbrough signs with Tampa Bay
Missouri running back Russell Hansbrough has signed with Tampa Bay, per his agent.
— Dave Matter (@Dave_Matter) May 1, 2016
Signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an UDFA was probably the best option for senior running back Russell Hansbrough. Despite a 1,000 yard season as a junior and an impressive 4.38 40 time at Missouri's Pro Day, an ankle injury derailed a senior campaign that only saw 436 yards and 1 touchdown. It's no secret that we here at Rock M Nation have been huge fans of "Muscle Mansbro", we wish him the best of luck for the future.
Kentrell Brothers is a Viking
He had to wait a bit longer than expected, but Kentrell Brothers finally found out his NFL destination when the Minnesota Vikings selected him 160th, midway through the fifth round.

Brothers still projected in the 2nd/3rd round
Kentrell Brothers is mostly projected to go in the second or third round of the NFL Draft in two weeks. Also: Tanner Houck is projected to go a lot higher than that in the 2017 MLB Draft (but Mizzou fans still get another 1.5 seasons from him first).

Simplicity rules ... if you've got the pieces
An old Smart Football piece extols the virtues of simplicity in the passing game. Missouri's 2015 offense proved the downside of simplicity. Also: Tori Finucane might be back to her old self, and Robin Pingeton's a hall-of-famer.

Kentrell Brothers 2015 highlights
A bright spot on an otherwise forgettable season, Kentrell Brothers was a standout playmaker for a Missouri defense that ranked among the best in the country. Watch his senior season highlights!
Happy 2016! Gary Pinkel's good on TV!
Gary Pinkel was part of the SEC Network's Cotton Bowl coverage, Missouri's November boycott was the biggest story of the year, and there's life for Missouri after Craig Kuligowski.
Good riddance, 2015
