Missouri ranks 23rd in preseason Amway Coaches Poll

And here comes another "THE SEASON IS GETTING CLOSER!" benchmark: preseason polls! The first Amway Coaches Poll of the season is out, and Mizzou comes in at 23rd.

The SEC is predictably well-represented. From the West, you've got No. 3 Alabama, No. 7 Auburn, No. 13 LSU, No. 15 Ole Miss, and No. 20 Arkansas with Mississippi State (No. 26) and Texas A&M (No. 27) barely missing the cut. Meanwhile, from the East, Georgia is ninth, Missouri 23rd, and Tennessee 25th. South Carolina, Florida, and Kentucky also got votes. (Well, Kentucky got a vote.)
