FIVE THINGS TO WATCH

Wide Receivers:

Who starts and who produces? Can J'Mon Moore work his way back into the starting rotation? How reliable is Wesley Leftwich in the opportunities he's given? What does Nate Brown look like in live action? Which freshman see the field?

Defensive Tackle:

There are three scholarship defensive lineman, Josh Augusta, AJ Logan, and Rickey Hatley who will absolutely see the field, plus the three freshman Terry Beckner Jr., Tyrell Jacobs and Josh Moore. How does the rotation work out, and who impresses?

Offensive Line:

How are the battles at right guard, left guard and right tackle working out? How does Connor McGovern look at left tackle? How much do the younger players see the field?

Running backs:

How many first team reps do Ish Witter and Morgan Steward see? Is Tyler Hunt a legit threat to be the third-string back? Does Chase Abbington look like the back he was imagined to be: one who can both run between the tackles and catch the ball in space? Do we see anything impressive from the freshman?

Quarterbacks:

How accurate does Maty Mauk look on short to intermediate throws? How does he look dropping back in the pocket? How well is he running the zone-read? How many reads does Mauk make before running? How many snaps does Eddie Printz, Marvin Zanders and Drew Lock see today, and with which offense are they running?

What specific things are you curious to hear about?
