Mississippi OT Ben Brown picks up Mizzou offer

Ben Brown is a 6'6", 290 lb offensive tackle from Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Rivals: 2*247: 3*Scout: 0*

Brown was first offered by Southern Miss in June.  Besides Missouri, only local teams have offered Brown, such as Louisiana Tech in July, and Louisiana-Lafayette more recently.  Brown has been gaining the attention of Mississippi's SEC schools in Ole Miss and Mississippi State.  Brown has reportedly attended camps at both universities and according to his Twitter page, very much enjoyed his time at both schools during various visits.  Missouri is the first Power 5 conference team to offer Brown and brings his total offer count to four.

Brown was invited to participate in the U.S. Army National Combine in January as well as the Nike+ Football The Opening Regionals later this year.

247Sports views Ole Miss as the favorite to land Brown.  Ole Miss has not yet offered the Vicksburg native but has reportedly recruited him through co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Matt Luke.  Brown described his time in Oxford as "AWESOME."

Check out Brown's highlights on HUDL.

It appears that Brown is being recruited by Glen Elarbee.
