Texas RB Eno Benjamin picks up Mizzou offer

Eno Benjamin is a 5'10", 194 lb running back from Wylie, Texas.

Rivals: 4*247: 4*Scout: 4*

Barry Odom is shooting offers out to big name guys and is attempting to increase Missouri's recruiting presence in Texas.  According to 247Sports, Benjamin was first offered by Iowa back in December of 2014, when Benjamin was a sophomore.  In 2015 he picked up offers from Nevada, Kansas, Houston, Miami, SDSU, SMU, North Texas, Texas Tech, Duke, Tulane, Boise State, Boston College, Colorado, Arizona State, and Northwestern.  In 2016, he was offered by Iowa State, West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Michigan, and Missouri.  Despite others showing interest, the only SEC schools to offer the running back are Vanderbilt and Missouri.

247Sports views a few schools as potential favorites to land the running back such as Texas Tech, Texas, Iowa, Boise State, Houston, and Michigan.  Iowa is proving that being the first to offer a player truly makes a difference.  As far as current status, one would believe Benjamin is already committed to Michigan from all the references to the Wolverines on his Twitter page.  Benjamin is set to visit Ann Arbor on March 8, as well as a few others, and one would have to assume that, with Jim Harbaugh's recruiting antics, Michigan could really become the overall favorite to land Benjamin following his upcoming visit.

Apparently, Benjamin was rooting for Arkansas when they played Missouri in 2015.  Benjamin has yet to receive an offer from the Razorbacks but has received interest from the school.

Check out Benjamin's highlights on HUDL.

It appears that Benjamin is being recruited by Andy Hill and Ryan Walters, Cornell Ford would be his position coach.
