Rivals: 4*247: 3*Scout: 4*

Jaevon McQuitty is a big time target for Missouri and comes from Columbia's own Battle High School.  McQuitty received his first offer from Nebraska in April of 2015.  McQuitty followed that up with offers from Kansas, Maryland, Illinois, Indiana, Miami (OH), Michigan, Iowa State, Iowa, Minnesota, and Missouri.  Missouri had been showing interest in the Columbia native and an offer seemed almost inevitable.

McQuitty seemed pretty excited about the recent offer from Missouri and 247Sports believes he's leaning the Tigers' way.  Scout believes that Iowa, Michigan, and Nebraska are also potential favorites to land the talented wide receiver.

"I kinda couldn't believe it," McQuitty said. "...I grew up in Columbia. Being born here, just thinking I could play for Mizzou, my hometown team that I've watched since I was a kid, that's pretty crazy to me. So my heart was being pretty fast."

Rivals ranks McQuitty as the #2 player in Missouri and 247Sports ranks him as the #4 player in the state.  247Sports ranks McQuitty as the #50 wide receiver and Scout ranks him as the #36 wide receiver in the class of 2017.
