Georgia OT Tony Gray picks up Mizzou offer

Tony Gray is a 6'5", 265 lb offensive tackle from Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Rivals: 4*247: 4*Scout: 4*

Tony Gray is a highly touted player that is ranked as the #13 offensive tackle in the class of 2017 by Scout.  Gray received his first offer from Tennessee and later that day from Kentucky.  He followed those up with offers from Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Boston College, Clemson, Ole Miss, Ohio State, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Mississippi State, LSU, Penn State, Michigan State, Wake Forest, Cincinnati, Kansas State, and Missouri.  It's quite clear that Gray is one of the most highly sought after offensive linemen in the country.

Gray is only a junior in high school but still has quite the impressive résumé.  Gray has been invited to play in the Under Armour All-American Game in 2017, the Rivals Five-Star Challenge, the Under Armour All-America Future 50 Experience, as well as the Nike+ Football The Opening Regionals.

According to 247Sports, UGA is the heavy favorite to land the talented in-state lineman.  Following Georgia's offer in March, Gray has either visited Athens (officially and unofficially) or been visited by UGA staff a total of six times.  Mark Richt seemed to be one of the leading recruiters of Gray at UGA, so it's possible he could choose the Hurricanes and join Mark Richt in Miami.

Check out Gray's highlights on HUDL.

It appears that Gray is being recruited by Glen Elarbee, Josh Heupel, and Greg Brown.
