Future Missouri guard Terrence Phillips shines in Oak Hill’s visit to Tournament of Champions
Phillips returned to the U.S. with his family and eventually progressed to Mouth of Wilson, Virginia and Oak Hill Academy. The private school with a student population of 150 produces elite basketball players. NBA stars who attended Oak Hill include Jennings, Carmelo Anthony, Rajon Rondo, Rod Strickland, Ty Lawson, Kevin Durant, Stephen Jackson and Jerry Stackhouse.
Unlike his half-brother, Phillips plans to go to college, accepting a scholarship at Mizzou.
