Does 5'11 Mizzou commit Terrence Phillips rejecting a 6'11 dude sound entertaining to you? Because it does to me!

...I'd say it's still possible to have good feelings about basketball, yeah? Hey, speaking of Jordan Clarkson...
Incoming AD Mack Rhoades spoke to the folks at KTGR's Big Show yesterday. You can find audio and a transcript here.
Q: What can you help Coach Anderson with in order to help this basketball program achieve success?
A: I don’t have a great feel yet in terms of their auxiliary facilities. The arena is unbelievable, but their locker room, the lounge spaces… I think we’re going to sign off on doing something for their locker room because I think that needs some help. So, some of those areas that influence recruiting… Making sure he’s got the right type of operational budget that gives him the ability to recruit, and go where he and the staff need to go. And we need to make sure that he can go out and get who he needs to get (for the open coaching position). Those are some of the items that we can do… And then, just be there to help him talk through a variety of issues, and provide some support for him.
Q: How do you plan to improve the Missouri’s gameday experience?
A: I’m trying to wrap my arms around that. I know that we don’t currently sell out every football game, and that needs to be our goal. It shouldn’t matter who we play. But we need to create an experience for all of our fans to enjoy. I have not attended a game here. I’ve heard we have a really good atmosphere and our staff does a good job… But are there ways that we can enhance it? The main focus for us is that we need to make ticket sales a priority. Not ticket operations… Not taking ticket orders and fulfilling them, etc. But we’ve got to be an outbound company. We cannot be an inbound company. We’ve got to be an organization that has a ticket sales staff that is aggressively making phone calls. We’re getting people interested. We’re asking people to come to our games. We’re asking people to buy single-game tickets, family packs, season tickets… I think that’s an area of opportunity for us where we can really grow.
The best thing to happen to Kim Anderson in months:
