What's On
I'll give you one guess.
You can have another shot at us anytime you want, Jayhawks.

I subconsciously spiked the ball today when we clinched sweet 16. Guess it's in the Buffalo blood to throw down the house. @RobGronkowski

MUTIGERS.COM: NCAA Softball Columbia Regional: Game 6 Post-Game Quotes
Mizzou Head Coach Ehren Earleywine
Opening statement:
"After losing last year, it made me appreciate winning a regional. It felt easy there for a while. Last year woke me up. I’m extremely grateful and really proud of my team. It was a strange game, but it didn’t matter because we won. We’re looking forward to heading to UCLA, and for now just enjoying being regional champions again."
On Cheyenne Baxter’s performance today in relief:
"She was awesome and as good as I’ve seen her all year. For her to do it under that pressure was just amazing. The fact of the matter is, if we make the plays behind her, she goes the entire game and wins that game. So she was the MVP today for sure."
On the challenge that UCLA presents at NCAA Super Regionals:
"It’ll be an enormous challenge. They do everything well. They have the Player of the Year in the PAC 12 in the circle. They’re hitting .370 as a team. They play great defense. We’re at their place, but we’ve done it before and we can do it again."

How's it going, Coach Anderson?
The Trib: Q&A with Kim Anderson
[T]he thing is I’m not necessarily done hiring people. There’s still that possibility that I could maybe hire someone else, too. I’m not married to that. I’m not sure I’m going to do that, but I think that that’s a possibility.
Q: "Possibility" as in before next season?
A: Mm-hmm.
Q: Are you anticipating somebody leaving?
A: No, not necessarily. … It’s May. I think there’s still a lot of movement in coaching. Internally, I don’t know if anyone’s going to leave this staff. … I could potentially add another position, too, so we’re talking whether it would be "Special assistant to the head coach" or … .
Q: Like what (former Auburn Coach) Tony Barbee was last year at Kentucky?
A: Something like that or, I don’t even know what the name of the position would be. Now, it would be restricted. There would only be certain things you could do. There’s always that possibility. I’m not saying I’m going to do it. I’m just saying, it’s a possibility, and I’m not in any big hurry.
And what about you, Tim Fuller?

MACK AND PINK, PINK AND MACK
The Trib: Pinkel, Rhoades focused on bigger, better for MU athletics
Pinkel said the department is starting the process of studying the three or four most impressive end zone facilities nationally — from outside the SEC — to see what’s worked elsewhere. He’s receptive to Rhoades’ desire to keep the football program in contact with the rest of the sports.
Up to a point.
"Our football offices, weight room, training room, I’m not sharing that with anybody," Pinkel said. "Food service and academics, I think it’s very important we’re with all the other students in that. We don’t want all the football players just stuck in a building. That’s not very positive to me. The rest of it, you want to have that’s your place."
