By the grace of god, it's official... I'm back— Wes Clark (@Im_back_15) June 16, 2015
#Mizzou junior PG Wes Clark got to be a full participant in the Tigers' on-court workout session on Tuesday. Said his elbow is feeling good.— Steve Walentik (@Steve_Walentik) June 17, 2015
Wes Clark: "From the type of injury I had and how serious it was, it was just good to be out there, blessed to see the court again."— Steve Walentik (@Steve_Walentik) June 17, 2015
Had a chance to talk to Clark and a few of #Mizzou's other returners, plus Kim Anderson. I'll have a story in Wednesday's Tribune.— Steve Walentik (@Steve_Walentik) June 17, 2015
And while we're talking about happy basketball things...
He displays excellent toughness, accelerating into contact and bullying ballcarriers, blockers, and opposing defenders when on offense.
He played as a rush LB in a 3-4 scheme in high school, so there wasn't much film of him in coverage and he will need to adjust to mentally to a new role, but he has more than enough athleticism and the feet required to succeed as an OLB in Barry Odom's defense. I'd also like to see more tape of him taking on blocks.
