Turf Show Times: 2015 St. Louis Rams Roster: Rams Sign Rookie 6th Round WR Bud Sasser
The Rams signing Sasser is a mild surprise since the Rams usually sign all of their draft picks on the same day, which means that more than likely the rest of the rookies should be signed by the end of the week. With the Rams starting OTAs on Tuesday the team is right on schedule for signing their rookies based on head coach Jeff Fisher's preference in teaching his rookies how to be responsible professional NFL players.
Coach Anderson the hall-of-famer
MUTIGERS.COM: Mizzou's Anderson Inducted into MIAA Hall of Fame
Mizzou Men's Basketball head coach Kim Anderson was inducted into the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) Hall of Fame at the organization's annual awards celebration at the Kansas City Plaza Library on Wednesday, June 3.
Anderson turned the NCAA Division II Mules into a juggernaut during his 12-year stint in Warrensburg, Mo., leading UCM to three Final Four appearances and the 2014 NCAA National Championship.
"It is a tremendous honor, and a great addition to the many great memories those Central Missouri teams made in Warrensburg," Anderson said. "The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association had some of the most competitive basketball in the country throughout my tenure as head coach. It is special to think so many of those UCM teams did so well in that conference. I accept this honor on behalf of the many great student-athletes who came through Central Missouri."

Tori the healer (or healing?)
The Trib: Finucane recovering well after being struck in the face by line drive
She wears the evidence of the play as a black left eye. She still has some redness in her eye, and her jaw is swollen and tight. She’s managing the residual pain with Advil and nothing else. Finucane knows it could’ve been much worse.
"The doctors confidently told me that I was about an inch away from being in a very, very bad situation," Finucane said. "That was pretty scary to think about, because they said if it was about an inch farther, I would’ve been in the O.R. with internal bleeding in my brain. That freaked me, obviously, and kind of put things into perspective. They say that this is a game of inches, and it really is."
Finucane did some light pitching Tuesday.
