As of right now it looks like the Big 10 would place two teams in the second College Football Playoffs with Ohio State and Michigan State, followed by Ole Miss and whichever one true champion arises from the Small 12 - either TCU or Baylor.
Mizzou's path to the playoffs involves a road trip win over Georgia and a November gauntlet of Mississippi State, BYU, Tennessee and Arkansas before winning the SEC Championship over Ole Miss.
