Congratulations to kicker Tucker McCann class of 2016 on his commitment to Missouri today. They are getting a great one! #Mizzou #SEC

That would be two years in a row MU has signed a kicker or punter after not doing so since 2007.

With McCann's commitment, MU's Class of 2016 midpoint is right outside the Sun Conservation Area, about 7 miles north of Poplar Bluff.

This class is now filling up quickly. Earlier today, Mizzou landed a commitment from highly touted O'Fallon (Ill.) kicker Tucker McCann.
As David Morrison mentions above, if McCann indeed ends up signing with Mizzou in February, that will be two scholarship legs in two years, including punter Corey Fatony. Mizzou has had plenty of success with the Jeff Wolferts and Andrew Baggetts and Christian Brinsers of the world, but they seem to be attempting to raise their game from a special teams standpoint. And let's just say it's not hard to see what they like about McCann.
That's a big leg. Kohl'sKicking.com lists him as a five-star kicker (No. 2 overall in the class of 2016) and 4.5-star punter. That's good enough for me.
McCann is the eighth commitment of the class and the fourth since Friday. With Mizzou expected to take between 16 and 20 players, the class is between 40 and 50 percent full. WELCOME, TUCKER.
